Autonomous Computer Control Now Available on Anthropic's Tools

Anthropic has introduced a new feature to its Code and Cowork AI tools that allows users to grant access to their computer for autonomous tasks, without requiring manual setup or permission. Claude, the chatbot behind these tools, can now autonomously open files, use web browsers and apps, and run dev tools, all with “no setup required.” This capability is available as a research preview for Claude Pro and Max subscribers and currently limited to macOS users.
