Big Three Automakers Dominate List of Cleanest Supply Chains, Toyota Lags Behind
A new ranking by global coalition Lead the Charge ranks 18 automakers based on their efforts to eliminate carbon emissions, environmental harms, and human rights violations from their supply chains. Tesla, Ford, and Volvo take the top spots, while Toyota ranks near the bottom. The rankings were compiled by a coalition of climate, environment, and human rights organizations, including the Sierra Club, The Sunrise Project, and Public Citizen.
