Epic Games Cracks Down on Prize Wheels in Fortnite Experiences

Epic Games has announced a change to its rules for Fortnite creators, effective January 20th, which restricts the sale of “spin” or “increased luck” options for prize wheels within their experiences, known as “islands”, just days after allowing in-game transactions. This move comes following the implementation of a prize wheel by Steal The Brainrot, one of the largest non-Epic games available to play in Fortnite, which allowed players to purchase spins and boosts with V-Bucks, the game’s virtual currency.
