FCC's drone import ban sparks lawsuit from DJI over alleged regulatory overreach

DJI has filed a federal court petition challenging the Federal Communications Commission’s decision to block imports of its China-made drones and components, citing that the FCC exceeded its statutory authority in adding foreign-made drones to its Covered List. The move prevents DJI and other foreign drone manufacturers from bringing new shipments into the US without Department of Defense approval.
