Former Windows Executive Steven Sinofsky Met With Apple's Tim Cook via Jeffrey Epstein
According to emails released by the Justice Department, former Microsoft executive Steven Sinofsky allegedly met with Apple CEO Tim Cook under the guidance of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. In November 2012, Sinofsky was in talks with Epstein about securing a $14 million retirement package and exploring future career opportunities at top tech companies including Samsung and Apple. In one document obtained by The Verge, it appears that two weeks after Sinofsky’s departure from Microsoft was announced, Epstein reached out to him expressing excitement about meeting Cook. However, the email mentioned that Cook had been informed of Sinofsky’s plans for starting a new company called “farstall”, with which Epstein was uncertain of the spelling. The revelation has raised questions about Apple’s knowledge of Sinofsky’s plans and whether he was aware that his former colleague was allegedly working on behalf of a notorious sex offender.
