Fortnite to Host Over 100 Gaming Crossovers by End of 2026
The Epic Games Store is launching a new program that will bring popular video game characters into Fortnite, offering a related cosmetic for players who purchase games from the store. As part of this effort, Epic has already secured partnerships with several major gaming franchises, including Capcom’s Resident Evil Requiem and others. In an interview, Steve Allison, General Manager of the Epic Games Store, announced plans to scale the program to over 100 crossovers per year by the end of 2026. This ambitious goal is expected to bring even more exciting collaborations between Fortnite and other popular games. The program is already set to feature around 40 crossovers this year, with many more planned for the upcoming months, including 60-plus partnerships scheduled for 2027. With its vast library of games and characters, the Epic Games Store is poised to become a major hub for gaming crossovers in Fortnite.
