Google Enables AirDrop on Pixel 9 Phones for Seamless File Sharing with Apple Devices

AirDrop compatibility has been expanded from the Pixel 10 series to include most Pixel 9 models, allowing users to send and receive files more easily between Android and iOS devices. Files sent from a Pixel 9 phone will appear as AirDrop transfers on an iPhone, Mac, or iPad, while receiving files are handled through Quick Share on the Android side. This feature is available for most Pixel 9 phones, excluding the budget-oriented Pixel 9A, but users should check their device’s compatibility before attempting file sharing with Apple devices.
