Google's 'live' AI search assistant now spans dozens more languages
Google is expanding access to Search Live, a feature that lets users search for information using their voice and camera, to more than 200 countries and territories across dozens of languages. Search Live rolled out broadly in the US last September, allowing users to point their phone’s camera at an object and ask aloud about it, such as how to install a shelving unit. The AI assistant then provides an audio response along with links to relevant web information. Google attributes its global expansion of Search Live to advancements in its language processing capabilities, enabling the feature to be powered across multiple languages.
