Handheld Gaming Device Price Skyrockets as Lenovo Legion Go S Becomes Latest Victim of RAMageddon
The best version of Lenovo’s 8-inch handheld, featuring the SteamOS operating system and a Z1 Extreme chip, has seen its price skyrocket to $1,579.99 at Best Buy, representing nearly double its original launch price of $829.99. This drastic increase in cost is not unique to this particular model, as other Legion Go S variants have also experienced significant price hikes, although none have surpassed their original prices as drastically as the SteamOS version. The steep price adjustments were first noted earlier this month for Lenovo’s flagship Legion Go 2, which saw some models experience a $650 price surge.
