Hermès Luxury Charging Case Exceeds MacBook Price Point

The French luxury goods maker has released a new collection of leather-wrapped charging accessories for Apple’s mobile devices, with the most expensive option being a multi-device wireless charger in gold-colored calfskin leather priced at $5,150. This exceeds the starting price of a 14-inch MacBook Pro. The collection also includes more affordable options, such as the $1,250 Hermès Paddock Solo charger featuring a wireless charging puck wrapped in calfskin leather. The new collection is the latest collaboration between Hermès and Apple, which began over a decade ago with a special watch collaboration. Despite being a high-end accessory, the case does not include a power adapter, requiring customers to bring their own.
