Huawei has officially launched its passport-style foldable phone, the Pura X Max, in China ahead of similar devices from Apple and Samsung. The Pura X Max is available in two versions: a standard model with 12GB of memory and 256GB of storage priced at 11,999 yuan ($1,800) or a higher-end version with 512GB of storage starting at 12,999 yuan. Pre-orders for both models began today, marking the Pura X Max as the first commercially available wide foldable phone to hit the market.
