iOS 18 Vulnerability Exposed by DarkSword Exploit

A new hacking tool has been discovered that can compromise iPhones running iOS 18, exposing users to potential data breaches. The “DarkSword” exploit allows hackers to intercept personal information on devices that visit malicious links, and has already been used by Russian hackers targeting vulnerable iOS versions from 18.4 to 18.6.2. According to security researchers from the Google Threat Intelligence Group, in collaboration with Lookout and iVerify, this threat could impact up to 270 million devices still using these outdated iOS iterations.
