iOS 26.3 Streamlines Android Switch Process

Apple’s latest iOS 26 update has made it easier for iPhone users to switch to Android by introducing a new, simplified data transfer process. The updated transferring tool allows users to effortlessly move over data such as apps, photos, messages, and phone numbers between the two devices by simply sitting them side by side. This eliminates the need for manual copying of apps and data or downloading Apple’s and Google’s data transfer apps on each device. iPhone users in the European Union also now have access to a new feature called “notification forwarding” with third-party wearables, which allows users to view the full contents of notifications from their Android devices.
