Lego Creator Takes On Desktop PCs
A Dutch industrial designer has created a super-sized desktop computer that resembles a classic Lego brick, measuring ten times bigger than its original counterpart from 1979. The “M2x2” is largely a 3D-printed case for a Mac Mini, allowing users to print the shell at home and customize it with their own components. The design features a 7-inch IPS touchscreen display, as well as a range of add-ons including USB ports, an SD card slot, and more. Staal’s creation is not only a nostalgic tribute to the original Lego computer brick but also a testament to the enduring power of DIY innovation in the tech world.
