Linux Users Are Leaving for macOS Due to Poor Performance and Compatibility Issues
I recently revisited Linux after a brief hiatus and was disappointed with the user experience. I had set up my 2019 Dell XPS 15, which initially ran Windows slowly due to its outdated specifications, to be a learning platform for my children. In an effort to revitalize it, I decided to install macOS on an M1 MacBook Pro in early 2024. The transition was swift and efficient, allowing me to put the old laptop into storage while providing a suitable typing practice environment for my kids. This experience has also made me consider alternative options that might better suit my specific needs.
