Meta Unveils Augmented Reality Features for Ray-Ban Display Glasses
Meta is introducing advanced features to its Ray-Ban Display glasses, including an innovative EMG handwriting system and a teleprompter functionality that enhances productivity and communication. The new EMG handwriting feature allows users to write messages directly onto their glasses without needing their phone or keyboard. This technology utilizes electroencephalography (EMG) sensors that capture hand movements, translating them into digital text on the display. In addition to this innovative writing system, Meta is also incorporating a teleprompter feature that enables users to copy notes from their phone and display them as customizable text cards on their glasses. These cards can be navigated using the Neural Band, allowing for seamless interaction between devices. These cutting-edge features are currently available as an early access feature in WhatsApp and Messenger, giving users a glimpse into the potential of augmented reality technology in everyday communication.
