Microsoft Misleads Internet with Fake Office Rebrand

The internet was flooded with reports of this supposed rebranding on social media platforms like Reddit, Hacker News, and X. However, a closer look reveals that Microsoft’s own website has not undergone such a drastic change. The confusion stemmed from Microsoft’s decision to redirect its Office.com domain to the Microsoft 365 Copilot app, which serves as a central hub for accessing Copilot and other Office applications. This move aimed to promote the new tool and drive users towards it. Despite this, the full suite of Microsoft Office apps remains unchanged in its branding.
