Microsoft Teams to Revamp Hand-Raising Feature
Microsoft is redesigning its online meeting software to address a common issue: accidental hand-raising. A redesign will move the raise hand button from the main toolbar and allow users to personalize the controls displayed there. This update aims to reduce mis-clicks by grouping the Raise Hand feature under the Reactions button, making it easier for users to distinguish between the two functions. The changes are expected to roll out in June this year, according to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap.
