Microsoft Tones Down AI Integration in Windows 11 Apps

In a bid to refine its user experience, Microsoft has started removing Copilot buttons from various Windows 11 apps. The latest update to Notepad, available for Windows Insiders, features a rewritten interface that eliminates the Copilot button and replaces it with a “writing tools” menu. Similarly, the Snipping Tool app no longer displays the Copilot button when capturing an area.
