New Network Speed Test Headed to Windows 11 Taskbar

A built-in network speed test is coming to Windows 11, allowing users to access it from their taskbar. The feature, which is currently being tested by Windows 11 Insiders in the Release Preview Channel, enables a right-click option on the network icon in the system tray. When selected, this opens in the user’s default browser and allows them to check the speed of their connection over Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or cellular data. This feature could provide users with an easy alternative to visiting third-party websites to test their internet speeds.
