New Transceiver Could Make Auracast Available on iPhones
A new device, the splitR Auracast transceiver, is being developed to enable Bluetooth-based audio technology, Auracast, on iPhones. By attaching to an iPhone’s MagSafe spot, the transceiver aims to overcome one of the main barriers to widespread adoption, which is Apple’s lack of support for the technology. The device, designed by Atitan, has the potential to bring millions of compatible devices online with a simple firmware update.
