PlayStation Abandons PC Port Plans
A report by Bloomberg suggests that Sony’s gaming division is shifting its focus away from porting PS5 games to PC, leading to the cancellation of plans for a PC port of Ghost of Tsushima. Sony had previously committed to making half of its games available on PC and mobile by 2025, with some notable franchises like The Last of Us, Horizon, and God of War already being made available. However, it appears that this goal has been reevaluated, with the company instead opting to concentrate on console exclusives. The decision comes as a surprise, given Sony’s initial enthusiasm for PC gaming. Despite this, other PlayStation-backed titles are still set to launch on PC in the coming weeks, including Marathon and Dea.
