Second US Sphere Coming to Maryland, 15 Minutes from Washington, DC

A second interactive venue by Sphere Entertainment is planned for National Harbor in Prince George’s County, Maryland, with construction expected to begin soon. The company has announced its intention to develop another Sphere in the area known as National Harbor, which features a convention center, hotels, restaurants, and shops along the Potomac River. Located 15 minutes south of Washington, DC, the new venue would be the second US location for the company, following plans for an Abu Dhabi project announced last year. Construction timelines and exact locations remain under review but are expected to bring a new form of entertainment to Maryland’s National Harbor area.
