Sony Unveils Affordable Open-Back Gaming Headset

Sony’s PC-focused InZone brand is launching a new open-back gaming headset, the $199.99 H6 Air, which combines the comfort and adjustability of its flagship $350 H9 II wireless model with a wired design featuring ear cups that are intentionally perforated to create an open-back sound signature. This design allows for a more natural and immersive audio experience, while also providing improved fit and breathability. Unlike traditional closed-back headphones, the H6 Air’s open design is not intended to block external noise, instead allowing ambient sounds to blend with the music or game audio.
