Steam Controller Unveiled Ahead of Schedule as Valve Ditches Plans for PC Gamer Bundle
The Steam Controller is officially going on sale May 4th for $99 USD, $149 CAD, $149 AUD, £85 in the UK and €99 in the EU. Following a recent hardware redesign and RAM shortage-related delays, Valve has chosen to launch the controller separately from its initially planned companion product, the Steam Machine. In our hands-on review, we found the Steam Controller to be “pretty great” and praised its unique design, ergonomic feel, and intuitive controls. Our colleagues Jay Peters and Cameron Faulkner also had a chance to test the device and share their findings in separate reviews.
