The Misguided Use of Artificial Intelligence in a Book About Reality's Fabric
When author and researcher Ryan M-Engh, also known as “the future of truth,” published his book on the impact of artificial intelligence on our perceptions of reality, he was met with both praise and criticism for his thoughts on the matter. However, it wasn’t until several experts pored over his manuscript that a disturbing trend became apparent: numerous instances of AI-generated quotes had been woven seamlessly into the text. Experts point to this as an egregious misuse of artificial intelligence in academic writing. The integration of AI-generated content raises questions about authorship and originality – particularly when such quotes appear to be used to support or embellish an argument, rather than being genuine insights or expressions of the author’s own thoughts.
