TikTok Service Resurfaces After Widespread Outage
As the third day of the TikTok outage subsided, users began to regain access to the app in the US, reporting ability to post and view new content without interruption. The situation had deteriorated on Sunday morning, when the platform experienced widespread technical issues that left many unable to use it. By Tuesday, however, users were able to successfully publish their own videos and engage with others’ content, indicating a stabilization of the service’s infrastructure. A spokesperson for TikTok US, citing the newly appointed owners, stated that “progress has been made in recovering our U.S. digital foundation,” although details about this progress remain unclear.
