Tinder Users Can Get Five Free Boosts with New Orb Verification Feature
A recent expansion by social media platform Tinder aims to enhance user verification, building on a technology initially tested in Japan last year. World, co-founded by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, has introduced facial scanning orbs that require users to physically visit one of the devices to prove they are human. The orb takes photographs of the user’s face and eyes before encrypting them to prevent misuse. This new service is being rolled out to select markets, including Japan and the United States, allowing eligible Tinder users to receive five free boosts on their profile.
