Trump Assembles Diverse Panel of Tech Heavyweights to Shape AI Policy
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Oracle CEO Larry Ellison, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, and Google cofounder Sergey Brin will be among the first four members of President Trump’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST), according to a report by the Wall Street Journal. The 13-member panel is expected to advise the President on matters involving science, technology, education, and innovation policy, including AI policy. Trump’s AI and crypto czar David Sacks and White House tech advisor Michael Kratsios will co-chair the panel. The PCAST panel will be composed of experts from various fields, with a focus on shaping the nation’s approach to emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and blockchain. The diverse group of advisors is expected to bring unique perspectives and expertise to the table, helping inform policy decisions that impact the country’s future.
