Virtual Boy Games Get Color-Changing Feature on Nintendo Switch Online
Nintendo has revealed that Virtual Boy games will now be able to display a range of colors, thanks to an update to the platform. Starting on February 17th, subscribers to Nintendo Switch Online can change the color of Virtual Boy titles from their original bright red hue, adding a new layer of visual flair to these classic games. The feature is exclusive to the Virtual Boy headset accessory, which costs $99.99 and requires a Switch or Switch 2 console to be inserted in order to play Virtual Boy games. A more affordable cardboard version of the headset costs $24.99. The updated lineup of Virtual Boy games will also include revamped headsets, with new features and gameplay enhancements. Nintendo has also confirmed that new Virtual Boy titles will be added to the service later this year, although no specific details have been released yet.
