Windows 11 to Get Movable Taskbar and Resizable Start Menu
A new test build of Windows 11 is rolling out to Insiders in the Experimental channel, allowing users to reposition the taskbar and resize the Start menu. This update brings a long-awaited feature that was first teased by Microsoft in March as part of efforts to rebuild user trust. With this change, users can now place the taskbar on any edge of their screen – left, right, top, or bottom – and adjust its alignment to suit their needs. The update also introduces an opt-in option for a shorter taskbar, which could be beneficial for devices with smaller displays. Moreover, users can now access the Start menu drawer from anywhere they place it, making it easier to find the apps they need quickly.
