Winning Tech with Integrity
The Verge is dedicated to ethics in technology journalism, refusing to accept gadgets or other items of value from companies. However, we’re now giving away some of the gadgets we’ve featured in our series “Today I’m Toying With,” where I share the joy of tech with you. As a member of The Verge team, I often face questions about whether I get to keep the cool gadgets I review. My response is always the same: no, we don’t keep them! Our policy is clear – we don’t accept anything of value from companies or their PR firms. But now, with our new video series “Today I’m Toying With,” we’re taking it to the next level by sharing some of these gadgets with you. Every few weeks, we’ll be giving away a random package of items we’ve called in for the show. To participate, simply fill out the entry form here or on Gleam, and subscribe to The Verge on Instagram and TikTok. Our giveaways are open to residents of the 50 US states and Washington D.C., who are at least 18 years old and have access to the internet. The prizes range from robot toys to gaming gear, and we’ll be giving them away as long as we can. Each prize box will be randomly selected from our list, so you won’t know exactly what you might get. Our goal is simple: share the joy of tech with you in a way that’s both fun and responsible. By following our ethics policy and being transparent about our giveaways, we’re committed to keeping the spirit of innovation alive while maintaining our values. So, keep an eye out for our next giveaway and join us on this journey into the world of technology and gadgets!
