Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, US Senator Marco Rubio, and former US National Security Adviser John Carney have been named to the executive board of Gaza’s “Board of Peace”.

The announcement was made by US President Donald Trump. The Board is tasked with promoting peace in the region.

Israel has expressed concerns over the composition of the Board, stating that it does not align with its policy.

In a recent statement, Israeli politician Itamar Ben Gvir called for a return to war with “overwhelming force” if necessary.

The Board’s membership was announced by Trump earlier this week.
