Protesters in Tenerife, Canary Islands, have gathered to express their opposition to the imminent arrival of a cruise ship that has been affected by a hantavirus outbreak. The ship is expected to anchor at Granadilla port.

According to authorities, passengers will undergo screening before disembarking and will then be transported directly to evacuation aircraft for further medical evaluation.
