Irans Leaders Discuss Post-Trump Ceasefire Situation and Potential Military Action

Tehran, Iran - State television and Iran’s military and security leadership have announced their readiness for a potential resumption of hostilities with the United States and Israel. On Tuesday night and into Wednesday, authorities organized displays of defiance in Tehran, including military parades and rallies, timed to coincide with the end of a two-week ceasefire.

The US President Donald Trump has extended the ceasefire for an unspecified period after negotiations failed to take place in Pakistan. In response, Iranian state media has continued to signal opposition to any major concessions during talks.

On Tuesday evening, a Khorramshahr-4 ballistic missile was displayed through cheering crowds in Enghelab Square, while masked men holding assault rifles stood atop a truck-mounted launcher for a Ghadr ballistic missile in Vanak Square. Loudspeakers broadcasted chants and slogans, including “Death to America” and calls for further missile strikes against Israel.

State television has released footage and interviews with armed individuals, including women, who expressed their willingness to fight on the streets. Authorities have also circulated images of pink missiles, drones, and assault rifles to emphasize public support for the cause.

Iran’s military authorities have continued to broadcast messages of resilience, stating that they are prepared to respond to any aggression by launching stronger attacks. The IRGC-affiliated Fars news agency released a video using artificial intelligence that showed an angry Trump and his team waiting for Iranian negotiators before showing humiliation when the president extended the ceasefire.

State television has adopted a hardline approach towards negotiations with the US, with presenters and analysts advocating for military strength in the face of threats and ultimatums from Trump.
