Iran Continues Attacks on Neighboring Gulf States and Israel Amid Ongoing Conflict
Tensions between Iran and its neighboring Gulf states, as well as Israel, have escalated following a series of attacks. The US and Israel have also been involved in military operations against Iranian targets.
Despite the intense bombing campaigns, Iran has maintained its attacks on these countries. Senior Iranian officials have been targeted for assassination. The Strait of Hormuz, a critical waterway for global energy supplies, remains closed, limiting transit.
Experts are now examining Iran’s strategy and available options. Foad Izadi, Professor at the University of Tehran, will discuss Iran’s approach to regional conflicts. Mehran Kamrava, Professor at Georgetown University in Qatar and director of the Iranian Studies Unit, Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies, will provide insight into Iran’s regional dynamics.
Elijah Magnier, a military and political analyst specializing in Middle East conflicts, will share his expertise on the ongoing situation. The panel discussion aims to shed light on Iran’s strategy and available options during this complex and dynamic conflict.
