Israeli military strike kills at least five people in Gaza

Gaza Reports High Number of Violations by Israel Under Ceasefire Agreement

A recent report from Gaza’s Government Media Office has confirmed that Israel has committed over 2,400 violations of the ceasefire agreement it signed with Hamas in October. The violations include targeted strikes, arrests, blockades, and forced starvation of Gaza’s residents.

According to local health officials, at least five Palestinians were killed in an Israeli air strike targeting a group of civilians near Al-Qassam mosque in Beit Lahia on Wednesday. The bodies of the victims have been taken to Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City for identification.

The ceasefire agreement was intended to bring an end to hostilities between Israel and Hamas, but it appears that Israel has continued to violate its terms. In addition to the air strike, Israel has also restricted the entry of agreed quantities of food, medicine, medical supplies, and shelter materials into Gaza.

According to a report by Save the Children, more than 20,000 children were killed by Israeli forces in Gaza over the past two years. The charity’s report found that on average, at least one child was killed every hour during this period.

The situation in Gaza remains dire, with thousands of Palestinians living in desperate conditions. The United Nations has described the situation as a “graveyard for children,” and UN Women has reported that an average of at least 47 women and girls were killed each day during the war in Gaza.

Since the ceasefire took effect in October, at least 786 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces, according to Gaza’s health ministry. The number of deaths continues to rise, with at least 32 reported this month alone.
