US-Israeli War on Iran Enters Early Stages, Expert Warns of Uncertainty
A joint military operation between the US and Israel against Iran has begun, with some experts expressing concerns about the outcome. Vali Nasr, a professor of international affairs and Middle East studies at Johns Hopkins University, has stated that the US may already be losing control of the conflict.
According to Nasr, Iran is considered the weaker party in the war, but it possesses capabilities that could lead to prolonged instability. The professor notes that the US goals for this operation are unclear, while Israel’s objective appears to be achieving a position of supremacy in the Middle East.
Nasr’s comments were made during an interview with Steve Clemons, host of a discussion program. The expert emphasized that Iran’s military capabilities could create a longer-lasting impact than initially anticipated by the US and Israeli governments.
The joint operation has entered its early stages, with both countries’ involvement still unfolding. As the situation continues to develop, it remains to be seen how the conflict will unfold and what the ultimate objectives of the US and Israel will be.
