London police arrest suspect over stabbing of two Jewish victims

A man has been arrested in London’s Golders Green area after two individuals were stabbed, according to reports from Jewish groups and community organizations. The 45-year-old suspect was seen running with a knife, prompting an investigation by British police.

The incident occurred in the Golders Green neighborhood, which is home to a significant Jewish population. Two people who were stabbed are being treated by Hatzola, a local volunteer ambulance service. Community Security Trust also reported the attack on social media.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated that a police investigation was underway and urged lawmakers to demonstrate determination in addressing such incidents. London Mayor Sadiq Khan condemned the attack, thanking emergency services for their swift response.

The incident follows a series of arson attacks targeting Jewish sites in north London, including synagogues and community centers. The attacks began after the US-Israel war on Iran started on February 28. Police have arrested 26 individuals in connection with these incidents, which some believe are linked to a group called Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiya.

The Shomrim Jewish neighborhood watch reported that the suspect was seen attempting to stab Jewish members of the public. The Community Security Trust urged anyone with information to contact the police and other relevant authorities immediately.
