Real Madrid, who are currently second in La Liga standings, will be looking to progress to the quarterfinals with a favorable result. The team is expected to have superstar Kylian Mbappe available for the match, although his starting position is uncertain. Federico Valverde scored a hat-trick in the first leg, including a 65-meter screamer from his own half.

Manchester City, who are currently ninth in the Premier League standings, will be looking to avoid elimination and overcome their goal deficit. The team has a mostly intact squad, with midfielder Mateo Kovacic returning from injury for Saturday’s West Ham fixture.

Real Madrid coach Alvaro Arbeloa expressed confidence that Mbappe would be available for the match, stating he is “getting better day by day.” However, Arbeloa may opt to start Gonzalo Garcia up front alongside Vinicius Jr and bring Mbappe off the bench. The team’s key midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has also been cleared to play.
