Thousands of people have entered Burundi, fleeing violence in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. According to reports, these individuals are seeking refuge in camps set up by humanitarian organizations.
The displaced persons have crossed into Burundi, with many now residing in a displacement camp in Busuma. The camp has become a temporary home for those who have been forced to leave their homes due to conflict.
Details on the number of refugees arriving at the camps are not yet available. However, it is reported that tens of thousands of people have entered Burundi in recent days.
