Russia reports killing three Ukrainians over past 24 hours

Russia claims that Ukraine has committed over 1,000 ceasefire violations since a three-day truce came into effect on May 9. According to regional authorities, at least three people have been killed in Russian attacks on Ukraine within the past 24 hours.
In the Zaporizhia region, one person was reported dead and three others injured due to artillery and drone attacks. In the Kherson region, a 58-year-old woman was killed in a drone attack on the village of Nezlamne on May 9. Seven people, including a child, have been injured across the region in drone or artillery attacks since early Saturday.
Governor Oleksandr Prokudin confirmed the death and injuries in the Kherson region through Telegram. In the northeastern Kharkiv region, Governor Oleh Syniehubov reported eight people, including two children, were injured in drone attacks on the city of Kharkiv and nearby settlements.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a 46-year-old woman was killed and another person injured in a drone attack near the city of Synelnykove. On Sunday, a child was reported injured in a nearby area. Kyiv’s air force stated that Russia launched 27 long-range drones at Ukraine overnight, which were intercepted by air defences.
Russia’s Defence Ministry claimed that Ukraine had committed over 1,000 ceasefire violations, including drone and artillery attacks on Russian troops and civilian targets in multiple regions. The ministry reported that they shot down 57 Ukrainian drones.
