Two USF Doctoral Students Killed by Roommate, Suspect Charged with Murder

Two University of South Florida doctoral students have been found dead, and their roommate has been charged with their murder. The suspect’s identity is Hisham Abugharbieh.

According to reports, the bodies of the two students were discovered on the Howard Frankland Bridge in Tampa, Florida. An investigation led by local authorities revealed that the deaths were linked to a dispute between the victims and their roommate.

Abugharbieh has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the deaths. He is currently being held at the Hillsborough County Jail pending further proceedings.
