Dubai International Airport Suspend Flights Due to Drone Incident
A fire broke out near Dubai International Airport, prompting authorities to temporarily suspend flights at the airport. The incident occurred after a drone was detected in the area.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) confirmed that it had intercepted drones in the region. Emirates Airlines announced that it would resume limited flights, with several planned routes cancelled for the day.
Saudi Arabia also reported intercepting drones in its territory. In addition to the UAE and Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Lebanon experienced attacks on Monday.
In a social media post, US President Donald Trump stated that Iran is using artificial intelligence (AI) to spread disinformation about its war gains. However, no evidence was provided to support this claim.
The situation in the Gulf region remains fluid, with ongoing escalations between countries in the area. The conflict involving Iran and its perceived adversaries continues, with multiple countries experiencing attacks on Monday.
