US Congress Names Six Men in Connection to Epstein Files

US Congressman Reveals Names of Six Men Redacted in Epstein Files

Representative Ro Khanna has disclosed the names of six individuals whose identities were previously blacked out from the Jeffrey Epstein files. The names include American billionaire Leslie Wexner and Dubai-based CEO, along with five other unnamed men.

Khanna made the revelation during a House of Representatives speech on Tuesday, stating that he had spent two hours reviewing the unredacted documents with Republican Congressman Thomas Massie. The congressman claimed that the Justice Department’s handling of the file release was inadequate, citing the redaction of names as “a little bit of a farce.”

The Epstein Transparency Act, signed into law by President Donald Trump in November, mandated the release of millions of pages of documents related to Epstein’s criminal prosecution and socialite girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell. However, advocacy groups and Epstein’s accusers have criticized the Justice Department for releasing only 3.5 million pages out of nearly 6 million.

Khanna pointed out that the inclusion of a name in the files does not imply wrongdoing by that person. The congressman stated that he had identified Wexner as one of the men whose name was redacted, and that the FBI had previously considered him a coconspirator.

The Justice Department has since partially unredacted some of the files pointed to by Khanna and Massie. The department’s handling of the file release has been subject to scrutiny, with many questioning why certain names were blacked out without explanation.
