US, Iran, and Israeli officials issue conflicting instructions to civilians amid bombing

Tehran, Iran – Iranian residents received a message from their government urging them to travel to other cities due to ongoing attacks by the US and Israel. The attacks, which targeted over 20 provinces in Iran, prompted the government to respond with missile and drone strikes across the region.

The Iranian government advised citizens to avoid traveling to Tehran, citing congested roads and potential disruptions to daily life. However, outbound traffic from the capital was still present, with many residents attempting to evacuate the city.

US President Donald Trump released a video message urging Iranians to stay in their homes and wait for an opportunity to overthrow the current government. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also made a similar appeal, while Reza Pahlavi, the son of Iran’s former shah, advised citizens to be vigilant and prepared for future action.

Iranian authorities have reported casualties from recent protests, with some attributing the deaths to “terrorists” and “rioters” allegedly funded and trained by foreign entities. However, international organizations such as the United Nations and human rights groups have raised concerns about the treatment of protesters, citing widespread arrests and potential executions.

In response to the ongoing tensions, universities and schools in Tehran were closed until further notice. The Iranian government has emphasized its control over food and fuel supplies, but residents are still seeking alternative routes out of the city.
