Venezuela’s Former Opposition Leader Denounces Acting President
In an interview with Al Jazeera, Juan Guaido, the country’s former US-backed opposition leader, has made public statements criticizing Delcy Rodriguez, the current acting president of Venezuela.
Guaido has referred to Rodriguez as a “dictator” and accused her of being associated with organized crime. These comments were made during his conversation with Al Jazeera.
It is worth noting that Guaido declared himself interim president in 2019, following Nicolas Maduro’s swearing-in for a second term as president.
