Real Zaragoza’s Esteban Andrada faces potential disciplinary action for incident during match against Huesca.

Esteban Andrada, a 35-year-old goalkeeper from Argentina, has been involved in an altercation with a Huesca player during Sunday’s match. The Argentina international was shown a red card after pushing Jorge Pulido and subsequently became enraged, running to hit the Huesca player before sparking a brawl on the pitch.

As a result of his actions, Andrada will face disciplinary action from Real Zaragoza. The club has released a statement condemning the incident, stating that it “witnessed scenes unbecoming of this sport” and expressing disappointment at the events that unfolded.

Andrada is also facing potential disciplinary action from the governing body, with reports suggesting he could be banned for up to 12 matches for his actions. Additionally, as per standard protocol, Andrada will receive a one-match sanction for being sent off during the match.

The incident occurred in a highly charged derby clash between Real Zaragoza and Huesca, both of which are currently fighting relegation to Spain’s third tier. The match ended with Huesca emerging victorious 1-0.
