Minnesota Timberwolves defeat Denver Nuggets 112-96 in Game 4 of Western Conference quarterfinals series.
The Minnesota Timberwolves secured a 3-1 lead in their best-of-seven series against the Denver Nuggets with a 112-96 win on Saturday night at Minneapolis. The victory came despite two key starters being injured, Anthony Edwards and Donte DiVincenzo, who left the game due to knee and leg injuries, respectively.
Ayo Dosunmu scored a career-high 43 points off the bench for Minnesota, shooting 13-for-17 from the field. Naz Reid added 17 points from the bench, while Julius Randle finished with 15 points and nine rebounds. Rudy Gobert grabbed a game-high-tying 15 rebounds.
In contrast, Jamal Murray led Denver with 30 points on 10-for-25 shooting. Nikola Jokic contributed 24 points, 15 rebounds, and nine assists but shot 8-for-22 from the field.
Meanwhile, in other playoff games, Oklahoma City Thunder defeated Phoenix Suns 112-96 to take a 3-0 lead in their series. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored a career-high 42 points for the Thunder, while Dillon Brooks led the Suns with 33 points.
New York Knicks evened their Eastern Conference first-round series against Atlanta Hawks with a 108-102 win. Karl Anthony-Towns recorded his fifth career triple-double with 20 points, 10 assists, and 10 rebounds.
In another matchup, Orlando Magic defeated Detroit Pistons 112-96 to take a 2-1 lead in their series. Paolo Banchero scored 25 points and had 12 rebounds for the Magic, while Desmond Bane shot 7-for-9 from three-point range for the Pistons.
