FIFA President Gianni Infantino’s Annual Compensation Revealed in Latest Financial Reports
According to recent financial reports, FIFA President Gianni Infantino received a 33% increase in his annual bonus for the 2025 fiscal year. The increase was part of a $6 million compensation package that includes an unchanged basic annual salary of 2.6 million Swiss francs ($3.3 million). Infantino’s bonus rose from 1.65 million Swiss francs ($2 million) to 2.2 million Swiss francs ($2.78 million) in the same year.
The financial reports also reveal that FIFA’s revenue for the four-year period through this year’s World Cup is expected to be at least $13 billion, with a budget target of $14 billion for 2027-2030. The organization’s revenue is projected to increase by 20% during this period, with an allocation of $2.7 billion towards development funds for its member federations and regional football bodies.
The financial reports also provide insight into FIFA’s plans for future events, including the second edition of the men’s Club World Cup, which is expected to take place in a host nation yet to be determined. The organization will also co-host the 2030 World Cup with Spain, Portugal, Morocco, and single games in Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay.
FIFA has published salary details for top executives and senior elected officials as part of its transparency reforms, which were implemented when Infantino took office in 2016. Payments are determined by a FIFA-appointed compensation panel.
